You may need other training that is not listed here, and you must complete requirements before your annual performance review.  Ask your supervisor if you are not sure which requirements you need.

Staff who provide Point of Care Testing Point of Care Proficiency Testing Provided by the Point of Care Testing department 1st Tuesday of each month
Staff who provide Clinical Emergency Response RRT, Mock Code, Advanced Airway, Defibrillation (requirements)

Staff who initiate, monitor and/or remove a restraint OR any staff providing direct care for a patient in a restraint. Restraint Competency (requirements) Hands On Clinical Safety (HOCS) HOCS schedule
Staff who are exposed endemic airborne diseases or work with hazardous drugs Annual N-95 Respirator Fit-Testing & Training Dates and times that fit-testing is available are listed on the VEHS N-95 Respirator Fit-testing program web page.
Staff with Patient or Blood & Body Fluid Contact Patient Contact or Blood & Body Fluid Contact Course

Note:  Tuberculosis Precautions is no longer required and Smooth Moves is now assigned separately.

Recognition of Patient Abuse and Neglect Lesson 
Staff who Provide Direct Patient Care Health Care Worker Fatigue and Patient Safety lesson
Staff who work in in-patient units, ambulatory surgical centers and/or where there are medical gas zone valve or alarm panels Medical Gas Safety & Emergency Response for System Failures lesson
Staff who work in Clinical, Research or Teaching Laboratories Laboratory Safety Course

Both training (online in VandySafe) and the online MRI Screening Questionnaire must be completed annually.
Staff who perform high level disinfection with glutaraldehyde-containing products such as Cidex, Wavicide or Rapicide High Level Disinfection (Cidex, Wavicide or Rapicide - products that contain glutaraldehyde)
Staff who perform high level disinfection with Cidex OPA High Level Disinfection (Cidex OPA)
Staff who insert, access, help maintain, and/or remove a patient's Central Venous Catheter (CVC) Infection Prevention: Central Venous Catheters (CVC)
Staff who perform or assist with clinical procedures that use lasers Laser Safety in Clinical Settings

Staff who operate x-ray machines and/or are present in the room with an x-ray machine while it is on X-Ray Safety annual training
Staff who work with radioactive material in a lab (includes Nuclear Medicine Technologists and Radiopharmacists) Radioactive Material Annual training
Staff who provide care to patients undergoing  treatment with radioactive material Caring for Radiation Therapy Patients training (for staff who take care of patients undergoing treatment with radioactive materials)
