Staff who provide Point of Care Testing	Point of Care Testing	Provided on the first Tuesday of each month. Go to the VUMC calendar, select "VMC Nursing Calendar" and search for "Point of Care Testing" for locations and times.
Staff who provide Clinical Emergency Response	RRT, Mock Code, Advanced Airway, Defibrillation (requirements)	Hands On Clinical Safety - The Learning Center	Oct. 4-5, 2012; 7 am - 6 pm
Staff who initiate, monitor and/or remove a restraint OR any staff providing direct care for a patient in a restraint.	Restraint Competency (requirements)	Hands On Clinical Safety - The Learning Center	Oct. 4-5, 2012; 7 am - 6 pm
Staff who are exposed endemic airborne diseases or work with hazardous drugs	Annual N-95 Respirator Fit-Testing & Training	Dates and times that fit-testing is available are listed on the VEHS N-95 Respirator Fit-testing program web page.

Staff with Patient or Blood & Body Fluid Contact	Recognition of Patient Abuse and Neglect Lesson
Staff who work in Clinical or Research Laboratories	Laboratory Safety Course included lessons: Using Human Materials in the Lab Chemical & Physical Safety in the Lab Hazardous Waste Training for Labs Laboratory Ergonomics
Staff who care for patients who receive Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans, transport patients to an MRI scanner, order MRI scans, or who work near MRI machines	Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Safety Both training (online in VandySafe) and the online MRI Screening Questionnaire must be completed annually.
Staff who perform high level disinfection with glutaraldehyde-containing products such as Cidex, Wavicide or Rapicide	High Level Disinfection (Cidex, Wavicide or Rapicide - products that contain glutaraldehyde)
