Hazard Communication - General Online Safety Training


This training is required for all faculty, staff & students who work with or around any type of hazard.  This is a self-paced, online training module which may be viewed with your internet browser.  (Note - To view the online course, a 4.0 version internet browser or later is required.  Current versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator can be downloaded free from their websites.)

The Navigation Instructions page describes how to navigate through the lesson.

The Lesson Menu is the first page of this training module, and it provides links to each chapter.  Each chapter has links to the individual pages in the lesson, so that you can jump to specific chapters and pages if you want to review one page of the lesson. 

Testing & Documentation

Once you have completed the lesson, you will need to take this short quiz.  Your supervisor will grade your quiz and keep it to document your training.  (The quiz is in Adobe Acrobat pdf file format.  The Acrobat Reader can be downloaded from the Adobe web site, free of charge.)

Supervisory staff who have questions concerning the quiz or the online training should contact the Safety Training Officer.
