Laser Safety Training
This training is required for all faculty, staff and students who work with lasers.
This training is available online in VandySafe.
VU faculty, staff and students who use lasers should send a message to vandysafe@vanderbilt.edu to request to have the VU Laser Safety lesson assigned to them in VandySafe.
VUMC staff who perform or assist with clinical procedures that use lasers will receive this training based on a "yes" response to the laser question in the VUMC Staff Annual Training Profile.
VUMC healthcare providers who use lasers during clinical procedures will be assigned Laser Safety training in VandySafe during the credentialing process.
