All VUMC employees are asked to complete new Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) training by December 1, 2013. The HCS (US federal regulation 29 CFR 1910.1200) was revised in 2012, and requires that all affected employees receive training on the new requirements of the law by December 1, 2013. VUMC Policy SA 20-10.03: Hazardous Chemical Right to Know/Hazard Communication requires this training for all faculty, staff and house staff. This training is available to all VUMC personnel online at www.vandysafe.com.
